Every month, ERA Group invites professionals from Europe and North America who have recently joined the Group to its headquarters in the United Kingdom. The aim is to train them in the "ERA method" over a two-week period, enable them to make their first face-to-face internal contacts and provide them with all the tools they need to start their business effectively.
Aïda KAMARA, a new ERA France consultant, was part of the November intake. Here, she shares her feedback on these 15 intense days.ERA Group: Hello Aïda, could you start by briefly introducing yourself to our readers?
Aïda: I trained as an economist and have a master's degree in finance. For over 20 years, I have held positions as management control manager and project controller.Specialising in interim management for the past 10 years, I have worked in various sectors and gained an understanding of several economic models. I have noticed that many organizations do not have the time or resources necessary to complete the cost optimisation process. The ERA model provides significant added value for companies and a solid structure for consultants.
ERA Group: If you had to choose one adjective to describe this training, what would it be?
Aïda: "Comprehensive and enriching"! The approach is very clear and educational. You quickly get to grips with the ERA product, and the 12 hours of online pre-training allow you to arrive at the training having already acquired several concepts.
ERA Group:So what are these two weeks of Foundational Training like? Do you cover a lot of topics?
Aïda: It's ten intense days. We look at the different aspects of the ERA process, from business development to technical topics. The 10-step methodology is very clear, and we have personal work to do every day. In total, no fewer than 15 speakers came to share their knowledge and experience with us. It's very enriching!"
ERA Group:What was the atmosphere like, both with the trainers and the other trainees?
Aïda: We were a small group of six trainees – three men and three women, perfect parity! – all from different countries: Italy, Canada, the USA, Sweden, Norway and France. This allowed for a great deal of interactivity, with everyone asking lots of questions and the group proving to be very dynamic! There were some strong personalities, but also a lot of kindness, which generated a lot of emulation on site. I found that the ERA trainers were able to engage all of these very different profiles, with varied backgrounds and cultures: they were very attentive and did their utmost to ensure that we were satisfied. A great insight into the corporate culture within the Group!
ERA Group:In conclusion, how do you feel after this training?
Aïda: I am very motivated! This training course taught me the ERA method, which has already proven itself with hundreds of clients, and confirmed the quality of the support provided to consultants by ERA on a daily basis, whether in terms of continuous training, IT, administration, marketing, etc. With all these tools at my disposal, I'm ready to take action!
