Digital form management at Rostock Municipal Utilities

By introducing digital form management, Stadtwerke Rostock has reduced costs in this area by 30 per cent.
Stadtwerke Rostock AG (SWRAG) produces a large number of documents based on information and customer data from various systems. This requires form management software that compiles all data from the various document types – from welcome letters for new customers to invoices and reminders – before they are printed, enveloped and sent by post or transmitted electronically. The aim of the project with ERA Group was to reduce the costs of this process, with a focus on production and shipping costs.
The implementation was carried out in stages for all document types. Since full implementation, the entire process has been running 30 per cent more cost-effectively.
