EGGER Holzwerkstoffe optimises use of temporary workers at its Wismar plant


EGGER Holzwerkstoffe in Wismar is a company belonging to the EGGER Group, which is based in Austria and has six German sites in North Rhine-Westphalia, Lower Saxony and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Approximately 900 employees work at the Wismar site. In order to attract new employees and respond flexibly to peaks in orders, the company employs a large number of temporary workers.
By using temporary workers, the HR department can make the employee recruitment process more efficient. This allows temporary workers to get an accurate picture of their future workplace and the corporate culture before they are potentially hired, which helps to avoid disappointment later on due to false expectations.
