Founded in 1987 by the entrepreneurial spirit of Maurizio Bazzo, INglass Spa is now an international company that provides engineering and consulting services for the manufacture of plastic products. It aims to establish itself as a recognised world leader for the quality of its products and the effectiveness of its pre- and post-sales service.
In early 2015, when the president of INglass commissioned ERA to form the work team, the company had just opened a plant in the United States and was expanding its production units in Italy and China. Aware of the importance of controlling costs within such a rapidly growing company, the management immediately seized the opportunity to improve and optimise the management of indirect costs with the support of ERA.
After careful pre-analysis, the categories of Travel and Transportation, Transport, Telecommunications, Company Fleet, Express Couriers, INAIL, Canteen and IT were identified as the areas with the greatest savings opportunities. The results achieved by ERA in collaboration with INglass managers were excellent: solutions were implemented that led to double-digit savings.
