For over 40 years, alpha Tonträger Vertriebs GmbH in Erding has been synonymous with innovative product ranges and services in the image, audio and games market. The company, which employs 500 people, supplies well-known hypermarkets, consumer markets and specialist retail chains, generating annual sales of around 130 million euros. In addition, alpha Tonträger Vertriebs GmbH has established itself as the most successful rack jobber in the entertainment sector in Germany. In order to be prepared for future tasks and to be able to profit from its own margins as efficiently as possible, cost management plays a major role in the company. The company therefore commissioned Gerhard Ibler and Jürgen Pöllmann from ERA Group to examine expenditure in various areas. The packaging area was examined by experts Armin Pinl and Stephan Haasis.
