ERA's support for Oerlikon HRSflow's cost and process optimisation
Oerlikon HRSflow – part of the Swiss technology group Oerlikon and its Polymer Processing Solutions division – develops and manufactures hot runner systems for a wide range of applications in the plastic injection moulding industry. Its main customers are in the automotive industry and certain related sectors.
Its comprehensive solutions and services, together with advanced materials, improve and maximise the performance, functionality, design and sustainability of its customers' products and manufacturing processes in key markets.
With more than 1,000 employees, over 50 branches worldwide and 3 production plants on 3 different continents - Europe, Asia and America - Oerlikon HRSflow aims to establish itself as a recognised world leader for the quality of its products and the effectiveness of its pre- and after-sales service.
The collaboration between HRSflow and ERA began in early 2015, during a period of strong growth in the company's history, when cost and process optimisation was a priority for the future development of the business.

The savings were realised in the short term and were achieved while maintaining the relationship with existing suppliers. In some cases, such as travel and transfer expenses, results were achieved that the management of Oerlikon HRSflow would not have believed possible beforehand.
