Mattias Berggren has been with ERA Group for the past 10 years. During that time, he has built a strong connection to both the business and the way it delivers value to clients, particularly in a market where outcomes and measurable impact are increasingly important.

What has kept him engaged over the years is not just the work itself, but the way it is done. For Mattias, the defining strength of ERA Group lies in collaboration—between partners, across countries, and throughout the wider network. As he puts it, “when we cooperate between partners in the network, we can create far greater value for our clients than anyone can achieve alone.”

At the same time, Mattias is clear-eyed about the challenges facing the business. One of the biggest, in his view, is keeping pace with rapid developments in technology and artificial intelligence. Rather than seeing this as a threat, he sees it as an ongoing area of evolution—where ideas can come both from leadership and from individual franchisees across the network.

He also describes ERA Group in Sweden as something of a family-oriented business, where his personal and professional life are closely connected. With 25 franchisees in his network, he works closely with his team in a way that blends independence with shared purpose, even when working remotely from different locations around the world.

That flexibility is something he values highly. It allows him to operate outside a traditional office environment while still delivering meaningful impact to clients. For him, this ability to work globally while remaining closely connected to clients is one of the most powerful aspects of the model.

He points to ongoing projects in Sweden as an example of this in practice—where deep expertise across multiple categories allows the team to identify improvements and deliver results that clients would struggle to achieve on their own. Beyond cost savings, he sees the role as one of trusted advisor, helping clients make better decisions across different parts of their business.

Ultimately, Mattias describes ERA Group as a platform that combines independence with collective strength—where collaboration, trust, and shared knowledge create long-term value for clients.
