Emanuele Maiorano
From Corporate Consulting to Building his Own Practice: Emanuele's Story
Emanuele Maiorano joined ERA Group at the beginning of 2021, bringing with him over a decade of experience in consulting and corporate strategy. Today, he works across client acquisition and programme delivery, combining commercial responsibility with project leadership as part of an entrepreneurial model that allows him to work closely with clients and share directly in the value created.
What attracted him to ERA Group was the shift in mindset it offered. Rather than working in a purely corporate structure, he saw the opportunity to operate in a more entrepreneurial way—closer to clients, more accountable for outcomes, and directly involved in delivering measurable savings.
A key differentiator for him is ERA Group’s success-based model, where remuneration is fully linked to results. As he puts it, “our outcomes must be measurable and achievable, because everything is based on success.”
He also highlights the calibre of professionals within the network, describing a community made up largely of former senior executives and specialists who bring deep industry experience to client work. In his view, this level of expertise is one of the strongest assets ERA Group offers in the market.
For Emanuele, relationships are central to success. He sees trust as the foundation of consulting, where networking helps open doors, but long-term success depends on the ability to listen, understand stakeholder needs, and maintain clear communication throughout a project.
As he puts it, “trust is the most important element in consulting—networking helps you start, but relationships are what make projects succeed.”
He emphasises that ERA Group’s role does not end at recommendation stage. Instead, teams remain closely involved with clients, monitoring implementation and refining solutions where needed to ensure results are delivered as planned.
Looking ahead, Emanuele sees a strong future for cost optimisation as companies continue to mature and focus more heavily on efficiency as a driver of competitiveness, rather than a one-off initiative. In his view, it is becoming a core strategic lever for businesses.
Before joining ERA Group, he spent 13 years in one of the world’s largest consulting firms, working initially in financial planning and later on strategic transformation projects for multinational groups. That background has shaped his structured approach to delivery and client engagement.
His advice to anyone considering joining ERA Group is simple: stay curious, be proactive, and approach it with an entrepreneurial mindset. Success, in his view, comes to those who are willing to take ownership and build their business with a strong human focus.
