For over 40 years, weinor GmbH & Co. KG has been manufacturing high-quality awnings, patio roofs, conservatory systems, glass oases, window shading and matching accessories at its main factory in Cologne and, since 1990, in Möckern near Magdeburg.
To enable weinor to concentrate on its core business, Helmut Köster-Schmücker, Head of Controlling at weinor, commissioned Thomas Krämer from ERA Group to reduce procurement costs in the areas of energy (Christoph Steven), office supplies (Jürgen Trambauer), packaging (Trambauer/Volker Klinkosch), waste disposal (Klinkosch), courier, express and parcel services (KEP), postage (both Ilona Janssen), printed matter, marketing (both Bert Kuypers) and cleaning (Steven/Stephan Glatzl). In total, ERA Group examined a procurement volume of over 2.6 million euros.
