Swiss Red Cross Restructures licence costs with the help of ERA Experts: Frank Grimmling, Raimund Martl and Dietmar Eder-Dianitsch.
The Swiss Red Cross (SRC) is committed to helping particularly vulnerable and disadvantaged people and, like no other aid organisation, combines a variety of strengths in the areas of health, integration and rescue. The SRC is part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, the largest humanitarian aid organisation in the world. Depending on the amount of donations received, the SRC's annual turnover is CHF 120 million. Internal and external control bodies ensure that the SRC uses donations effectively and economically for social and humanitarian purposes. In order to work as cost-efficiently and effectively as possible, Markus Sieber, CFO of the Swiss Red Cross, commissioned Frank Grimmling from ERA Group to examine the costs and structures of software licences. Grimmling brought in experts Raimund Martl and Dietmar Eder-Dianitsch to work on the project.
