The BAUER Group optimises steel purchasing with the help of ERA Group experts Volker Worringer and Dr Harald Lampey.

In the machinery sector, the BAUER Group is the global market leader for the entire range of equipment for specialised civil engineering as well as for the exploration, development and extraction of natural resources. Through the acquisition of companies, the BAUER Group aims to generate synergy effects among its individual subsidiaries. In order to leverage these effects in steel purchasing, the company commissioned Volker Worringer from ERA Group to optimise steel purchasing at four subsidiaries. Worringer brought in expert Dr. Harald Lampey from the ERA raw materials team to work on the project.
