The REICH butcher shop in Mering has been in business for over 100 years. Alexander Reich is the fourth generation to run the company. The butcher shop slaughters its own animals and produces top-quality sausages using recipes developed over generations. The butcher shop generates approximately ten percent of its revenue through its catering service, which supplies both institutional food service facilities and private and corporate events of all kinds. To best position the business for the future and prepare for planned further modernization in the coming years, Alexander Reich commissioned Jessica Schütz from the ERA Group to analyze and optimize the areas of food procurement (supplies for the catering service) and retail packaging.
