The REICH butcher's shop in Mering has been on the market for over 100 years. Alexander Reich is the fourth generation to run the company. The butcher's shop slaughters its own meat and produces first-class sausage products according to recipes developed over generations. Around ten per cent of the butcher's turnover is generated by its catering service, which supplies both communal catering facilities and private and business events of all kinds.
In order to position himself as well as possible for the future and prepare for the planned further modernisation in the coming years, Alexander Reich commissioned Jessica Schütz from the ERA Group to examine and optimise the areas of food purchasing (requirements for the party catering service) and sales packaging.
