In light of the fragmented geopolitical environment of recent months, the conversation about tariffs is heating up, and although Spain is not among the countries directly affected by international trade measures, there is still a real and noticeable impact on Spanish companies.

Sectors such as foundries, with tight margins, are forced to raise the price of the final product, but the problem goes beyond price. Cost planning and the stability of contracts with suppliers are also having an impact.

Due to the complex system involving raw materials such as iron and steel, energy consumption, supply chains, and industrial customers, tariffs do not act as a simple one-time surcharge, but rather as a distorting factor.
