Kymera has engaged ERA to achieve savings in several of its category purchases. Kymera International in Lillesand produces silicon carbide and exports its products worldwide.
– Kymera has an annual turnover of between NOK 700 and 800 million and consumes large quantities of raw materials, services and other services. We have our own purchasing resources, but this is a comprehensive task and our internal resources are not sufficient in relation to the potential that lies in our categories," says Ramselien. That is why he has entered into an agreement with ERA. They will identify the potential for savings, costs related to packaging and a number of other areas.
"The agreement with ERA Group is 'no cure no pay' – we only pay if there are savings. ERA is now working on our behalf and providing us with valuable relief, while also negotiating good contracts for us," says Ramselien.

ERA does everything related to benchmarking, sends out requests, obtains prices and finds new suppliers – all to the same high standard.
"The option reports we have received from ERA Group look very good so far. We are going to make significant savings going forward," concludes Ramselien.
