With around 40 companies in over 20 countries, Mayer-Kuvert-network is the largest company in the envelope industry in Europe. Every year, almost 20 billion envelopes are produced across Europe by the entire group on 190 reel machines and 75 sheet machines.
In addition to manufacturing and distributing a wide range of standard envelopes, Mayer-Kuvert-network focuses primarily on producing customised advertising envelopes to increase response rates for direct mailings.
In order to continue manufacturing locally in a competitive market environment, cost optimisation is high on Mayer Kuvert's agenda. The company therefore commissioned Bernd Schneider from ERA Group to examine various cost areas.
