The Würzburg District Office reduces its natural gas procurement costs by 18 per cent with the help of experts from ERA Group.
The Würzburg District Office is responsible for the Würzburg district and has a catchment area of 160,000 inhabitants with 52 towns and municipalities. In order to ensure services for its citizens, it is important for the district administration to keep its own procurement costs as low as possible. The Würzburg District Administration therefore commissioned ERA Group to examine and optimise its energy procurement costs, particularly for natural gas. Part of the project included the preparation of a public tender.
