"The economic crisis forced us to review all aspects of our business. As one of the measures to maintain competitiveness, we launched a global cost-saving programme in which we called on an external partner to analyse and monitor clearly defined purchasing processes," explains Dirk Coveliers, General Manager of Maintenance Partners.
"We are part of an international organisation with branches in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. With 350 employees worldwide, we carry out maintenance on all rotating machinery in industry. This includes pumps, gearboxes, electric motors, turbines, compressors, generators and transformers. Our main customers are in the energy generation, chemical and petrochemical, fertiliser production, paper, waste processing and shipping sectors, among others.
