Iddink saves an average of over 20% on roll containers, parcel transport, packaging, printing, printers and telecoms
Iddink in Ede is one of the largest suppliers of schoolbooks and digital teaching materials for secondary education, serving around 300,000 pupils. The company acts as an intermediary between schools and dozens of publishers of teaching materials and ultimately delivers book packages to each pupil's home. The business process is unique: 90% of turnover is generated in August when the teaching materials are delivered.
Half of the books – 10,000 titles – are rented out and the other half are sold. In addition to the 45 permanent employees, more than 400 temporary workers are employed by Iddink every day during the
summer months to complete this challenging logistical operation.
