Jim Lawless is a Consulting Partner based in Georgia with over 35 years of experience in optimizing operational performance.Before joining ERA Group, Jim was the President and General Manager for Dyneema LLC and the Site Director of DSM Dyneema Greenville. During his employment with DSM, he held several leadership positions in maintenance, operations, quality, engineering, and nutritional products, including an international assignment in Scotland.
Jim utilizes his results-oriented manufacturing operations experience to build continuous improvement in all business areas and drive performance for his clients. His projects, both global and domestic, have reduced shutdown duration and maintenance costs, increased efficiency, and improved the leadership approach to safety procedures. His leadership expertise and ability to develop strong relationships at all organizational levels provide a solid foundation for his clients at ERA Group. Jim holds a BS in General Science from the United States Naval Academy.
He recently moved from Greenville, NC, where he served on the Board of Trustees for United Way of Pitt County, focusing on early childhood development, increasing high school graduation rates, and workforce development. In his spare time, Jim spends time with his wife and four children, as well as angling the hidden waterways of Georgia and North Carolina.
