Steve Cattron has more than 40 years of executive management experience and successes delivering continual improvement in profitability of products, services, assets, subsidiaries, operating divisions and corporate entities.
With over 20 years of consulting experience, Steve helps clients reduce costs and drive sustainable growth across various supply chain sectors. His practical approach and executive experience deliver measurable cash flow improvements and operational improvements through the implementation of best practices. Steve is passionate about building client relationships that last and has supported Fortune 500 companies through complex transformations.
He’s recognized for his hands-on style and strategic insight. Steve utilizes his extensive utility rate and pricing knowledge and finance expertise to assist clients in reducing their utility and energy costs as well as improving the cost of merchant processing fees.
Steve has served as Chair of ERA’s Merchant Card and Utility/Energy Practice Group and has been the lead category specialist on numerous merchant processing and utility/energy reviews resulting in tangible, sustainable and measurable savings for numerous clients over the past 20+ years.
Prior to joining ERA Group, Steve served as the Pres. and COO of Missouri Gas Energy, a natural gas distribution company serving over 500,000 customers across the Western third of Missouri. Prior to MGE, Steve was the VP of Regulatory Policy, Marketing and Sales for Kansas City Power & Light Co., a fully integrated electric company serving over 500,000 customers across Western Missouri and Eastern Kansas.
His regulatory responsibilities included all matters related to state and federal regulatory filings and the approval and administration of all rates, tariffs, strategic pricing initiatives, special contracts and all applicable rules and regulations.
Steve previously served as Chairman of the Board of a publicly traded natural gas pipeline company that owned and operated on-shore and off-shore assets, including processing facilities. Steve received his BBA in Accounting from University of Missouri.
