José Antonio has over 30 years of experience in the insurance field and since joining ERA he has specialized in insurance cost analysis, having participated in successful projects for companies in various sectors. He began his professional career at Arthur Andersen, from where he went on to assume various responsibilities at the BBVA Group, both in Spain and Latin America.He was responsible for the internal audit of the Group's insurance companies, which allowed him to get to know all the companies located in Latin America, as well as to live in Argentina as the head of auditing for the Siembra Group. He was subsequently the CFO of BBVA Seguros in Spain, one of the country's leading bank-insurance companies.
He has led the implementation of a large number of projects, seeking to strengthen their internal control and always striving for process improvement and maximum efficiency. He obtained his degree from CUNEF and has postgraduate studies from ICADE and IESE.
