Guido Aru

I have had the privilege of working with Guido on two occasions that were particularly significant for both of us. As Industrial Director, Guido was responsible for Production, Quality, Improvement and Safety, with a total of around 200 people. In addition to well-established lean methodologies applied across the board, Guido has a unique synergy of tenacity and grace that makes him loved by people and at the same time achieves the desired results. In particular, I like to remember his relationships with industrial customers (typically involved in very specific issues) with whom he is able to quickly establish rapport and systematically resolve their needs thanks to both his character and his mastery of the problem-solving and project management techniques he usually employs. Guido has formidable experience in operations, matched only by his humility. This characteristic puts everyone at ease, allowing them to express themselves and perform at their best. He combines effectiveness and efficiency with great interpersonal skills, a combination that is very rare to find in a high-calibre manager like him.
