My principal aim is to work with my clients to help them improve their bottom line performance through effective procurement, improved supplier management and smarter spending habits.It is common sense that the best way to improve bottom line performance is to spend less or sell more, or both.
I work with my clients to assess how we can help them to spend less – not as a short term solution, but as a long term organisational benefit.
Where there is such an opportunity to work together, my role is to bring the right expertise for each client situation to deliver that value.
This can be through:
* Cost Management – looking at volumes purchased/tariffs paid and assessing whether we can help reduce either/or both to reduce costs – but without compromising on service/quality.
* Purchase Management – looking at business processes and training given to people spending the business’ money and looking for more effective ways of doing things.
* Supplier Management – involving suppliers in the process and enabling them to bring innovation to the client which can often improve service delivery and help manage cost more effectively.
My desire is to develop lasting client relationships. We have delivered in excess of £20m of savings for my clients already.
