Carlos Nunes holds a degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics of Porto, a Master's degree in Finance and a Postgraduate degree in Advanced Management (AMP) from Insead, France. He has over 25 years of experience in senior management positions, notably in groups such as Banco Pastor (Spain) and SONAE.
Carlos is an experienced manager with a deep understanding of the importance of optimized costs as the basis for business profitability. As CEO of companies, responsible to shareholders for the income statement, he has developed skills in cost rationalisation as a lever for profitability.Responsible for establishing ERA Group in Portugal in 2007, he has led more than 500 cost optimisation projects in different areas, such as packaging, insurance, energy, transport, security, logistics and fleets, among others.
